About the role
Our site near Culpeper, VA, in beautiful, rural Orange County (1.5 hours from Washington, DC) is growing! This site is our center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development as well as high-complexity production programs. We are seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our team at our Culpeper, VA site.
Responsibilities
- Use calipers, micrometers and other measuring and/or specialized equipment to perform inspections on rocket motors and rocket motor components under the supervision of higher level inspectors in accordance with AS 9100/ISO 9001 elements.
- Complete paperwork such as writing IR cards, Discrepancy reports, etc.
- Enter shipping data, Discrepancy reports and Oracle entries in the computer on all programs.
Qualifications
- Requires a High School diploma with (3) three years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No security clearance is required on day one.
- Preferred Additional Skills:
- Trade or Vocational School courses in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and basic math.
- Understanding of the related AS 9100/ISO 9001 elements.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $28/hr - $35/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
