Insomniac - Vans Warped Tour Long Beach Seasonal Exterior Operations Crew

About the role

Insomniac is seeking Exterior Operations Crew members to join our dynamic team. This position reports to the Director of Exterior Operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork lifts, stakebeds, water trucks, dump trucks, front end loaders, skid steers etc. Fork lift certs required.
• Earth moving equipment and/or CDL certifications and experience are a plus.
• Exterior leads are experienced in festival builds or comparable experiences. Duties include directing the crew, managing inventory, reporting maintenance for equipment, and more.
• The signage team hangs signs around the festival perimeter, ranging from simple signs to larger overhead trusses and parking lot flags.
• The signage lead directs the signage crew, understands sign placement, and manages the team.
• Shuttle loader/unloader roles involve loading and unloading headliners from buses. No certifications required.
• Shuttle leads handle basic bus loading and unloading, manage staff breaks, check in bus drivers, ensure smooth operation, and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Age 18 or older
• Able to walk long distances, move constantly, and lift 50+ lbs
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Clean and presentable attire (show blacks)
• Motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
• Active problem solver with a sense of urgency

Work Environment

• Tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
• Willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to work in drastic temperature climates
