Insomniac - Nocturnal Wonderland 2026 Seasonal VIP Squad

About the role

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated self-starter who combines a passion for dance culture with a love of event operations. The VIP Activations team member will engage with Headliners and support a diverse range of activations at large-scale festivals, including arts & crafts, food and beverage stations, scavenger hunts, and charitable giveaways.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all VIP activations and offerings; ability to communicate enthusiastically and informatively about them
• Familiarity with general festival information (hours of the show, stage names, major performing artists, location of the nearest medic tent, ATM, water station, etc.)
• Assist in set up of VIP area before doors open and maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the festival
• Creative and flexible with various tasks; willing to get Headliners excited about any and all activations

Qualifications

• Large-scale event experience exceeding 5,000 attendees
• Proactive and creative thinker; strong problem-solving and ability to “think on your feet”
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and travel as needed
• Personable, enthusiastic, and able to work well in group environments

Work environment

• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required

Pay

$16.90 – $18.00 per hour. Compensation is based on education, training, experience, work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel, market conditions, internal value, and seniority/merit systems.
