About the role

The Marketing Campaign Specialist, YouTube oversees the operations and growth strategy of YouTube for Insomniac. Key responsibilities include creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing content calendars, optimizing videos, and integrating YouTube campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute marketing campaigns in coordination with strategic stakeholders, focusing on YouTube as a primary content and promotional channel.
  • Own the YouTube marketing strategy, developing content calendars, managing video releases, and leveraging platform tools to drive growth and engagement.
  • Partner with third-party agencies for the operation, management, and execution of YouTube initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external meetings to articulate campaign objectives and YouTube-specific strategies.
  • Analyze weekly performance data, including YouTube channel analytics, social media engagement, and paid media, to adapt marketing plans based on insights.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, content formats, algorithm updates, and best practices, ensuring campaigns are innovative and aligned with current digital behavior.
  • Recommend process improvements to optimize the overall marketing and YouTube content development workflow.
  • Develop and manage YouTube-optimized assets, hire and manage independent video editors, animators, and specialists as needed, and oversee on-site marketing efforts.
  • Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of team members, including those supporting video and YouTube operations.
  • Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors, and partners when needed.
  • Support other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing and/or music, with expertise in YouTube marketing, audience development, or content strategy.
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube platform, content formats, algorithm, and creator/influencer ecosystem.
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for and knowledge of electronic music, artists, genres, culture, and Insomniac brands.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present YouTube insights and campaign results.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute complex, high-volume marketing campaigns, particularly YouTube-centric campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling YouTube titles, descriptions, and calls-to-action in brand voice.
  • Experience managing multiple timelines, adapting quickly, and collaborating across departments.
  • Bonus: Experience with YouTube Studio, analytics dashboards, Photoshop, Google Analytics, or video editing platforms like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
  • Willingness to execute or oversee off-hours publishing and monitoring of YouTube content when needed.

Work Environment

  • Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature changes while working on-site at various event locations.
  • Must be able to work in an open-concept office space.
