Responsibilities
- Help develop a high-performance sales team
- Hire, train, mentor, and coach staff
- Provide Organization and Leadership to the Sales Channels
- Met and exceed goals for new business
- Generate and manage leads for sales reps
- Facilitate calls to help sales reps close deals and problem solve
- Participate in sales meetings and conference calls to give updates on sales targets and sales forecasts
- Work with sales management on forecasts and goals
Requirements
- At least 1 year of freight sales experience preferred
- Prior documented success selling logistics services in a sales environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the interpersonal skills needed in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
- A truly hands-on individual who enjoys being part of a team environment, working well within one and is solution-driven
- Able to work independently, knowing what needs to be done and able to effectively make that happen
- Able to partner and communicate with management to refine systems and implement best practices
- General business and financial acumen
- Must relocate to Tempe, Arizona
