About the role

We’re seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals with a passion for sales to join our dynamic B2B team! In this exciting role, you’ll focus on telephone-based sales of fresh flower varieties and floral products offered by FlowerBuyer to our network of member florists. Bilingual Spanish not required but is a plus. This is a hybrid position working Monday‑Wednesday in the Oklahoma City office, with option to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. Working from home is optional and working from the office is available. This is an hourly position and is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

• Establish a high level of rapport and trust with the Teleflora florists
• Develop in‑depth knowledge of FlowerBuyer’s complete portfolio of fresh flowers and floral supplies
• Meet/exceed the daily, weekly and monthly quotas that are established for contacts and sales
• Meet/exceed the daily expected percentage of time on the telephones selling to the florist
• Use every customer contact to reinforce the Teleflora commitment to customer service
• Prepare reports as necessary for the Inside Sales department management
• Utilize appropriate order entry, call tracking and contact management software
• Participate in sales, product and process training as required
• Communicate with other departments to help meet departmental needs
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must work extended hours as business needs dictate
• Possess strong written, verbal, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
• Strong attention to detail including but not limited to accurate spelling and appropriate abbreviations
• Basic computer literacy, basic math and writing skills
• Excellent telephone skills and sales skills required
• Self‑motivated, goal‑driven capable of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
• Must display a strong desire to achieve and maintain high levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction
• Work experience in a floral operation and/or outbound business‑to‑business telemarketing/telephone sales experience a plus
• Knowledge of flowers, seasonal trends, or event planning a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, college business course or an undergraduate degree a positive.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule: Monday through Wednesday in the Oklahoma City office; Thursday and Friday optional work‑from‑home (office also available). Hourly position.
