Inside Sales Specialist

About the role

DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in saving lives through organ donation. Our mission is to end the transplant waiting list by maximizing the gift of life through nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues.

Responsibilities

• Generates new business by identifying and researching accounts nationwide using telephone, email and independent research.
• Proactively initiates outbound calls and emails to prospective clients.
• Creates and delivers informative telephone and email presentations regarding products, effectively closes sales, and meets monthly sales quota.
• Maintains and analyzes finished goods inventory to identify distribution outlets for allografts as assigned by the Senior Director of Sales.
• Maintains and calls dormant accounts to reestablish relationship with the company.
• Tracks and reports sales activity.
• Attends Sales/Distribution departmental meetings, participates in committees, and coordinates special projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eighteen months’ experience in customer service or inside sales.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets.
