Position Purpose

Under frequent supervision, contact current and potential customers by phone to grow prospects and sales of insurance products. Assist in supporting long term relationships and repeat business by meeting the needs of the distribution partner with superior service. Assist in special projects or duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support Transportation Account Executives and Sr. Account Executives in managing producer relationships through outbound calls, email follow-ups, and CRM tracking.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new Transportation producer leads, focusing on small to mid-tier agencies.
  • Utilize a CRM system to manage Transportation product leads lists for e-blast campaigns.
  • Provide support for sales initiatives and team-driven projects.
  • Assist in coordinating convention pre- and post-event follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and marketing reps to ensure timely responses to producers.
  • Assist in executing producer and customer focused events such as the annual Producer Summit.
  • Assist in registering product heads and underwriters for product specific conventions and shipping appropriate marketing materials & banners to the event.
  • Manage conference calendar in SharePoint for all Transportation departments.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Transportation products, appetite, and target classes.

Requirements

  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in marketing, insurance, or a related field.
  • P/C Agents Insurance License obtained or a willingness to obtain license is preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Ability to use analytical methods in insurance sales to find workable solutions for customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with potential customers on insurance options.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $22.77 - $31.31
