About the role
The GDS Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for consulting with International Engagement Manager, Account Teams, and Customers to outline and execute on the delivery of global projects. This role supports WWT account teams in developing international price proposals based on the defined approach.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, quote requests, and order processing needs within defined service levels/timeframes
- Build and maintain strong working knowledge of assigned accounts (domestic and international) to ensure customer expectations are met
- Consult with Account Managers and International Engagement Managers to qualify and develop international opportunities
- Develop and recommend sourcing strategies for international opportunities, working with both direct and indirect sources of supply for efficient quoting and order processing
- Support WWT account teams in the development of international price proposals based on the defined approach
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of WWT tools, processes, and partner-facing applications to build and validate technical/quote configurations
- Aid in managing the lifecycle of global opportunities through the full quote-to-cash cycle
- Document and deliver on customer opportunities using Salesforce
- Provide proactive account support, including order tracking and detailed reporting to stakeholders
- Provide quote support for international projects
- Identify and develop process improvements, particularly for international workflows
- Resolve issues and inquiries within defined service level agreements
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent work experience within the IT/Technology industry
- 2+ years general business experience with Supply Chain and International Business experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide leadership around complex global initiatives
- Ability to interact with customers and articulate WWT’s value proposition around global business
- Experience in at least across 1 to 2 of our WWT/Partner systems: Oracle, Salesforce, Cisco CCW, EMC Partner Central, and WWT Quote System
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Good PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
