About the role
Westland Distributing is a well-established wholesale distribution company and a leader in the manufactured housing parts industry. We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to help drive profitable growth at our Phoenix, Arizona branch.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly Phoenix branch sales goals
- Manage customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through email
- Create quotes and process sales orders using Sage 100
- Research and resolve customer questions regarding products, pricing, orders, and deliveries
- Build and maintain strong relationships that drive customer retention and repeat business
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction during every interaction
- Develop extensive product knowledge to effectively support customers and grow sales
- Lead by example and mentor Inside Sales team members
- Handle escalated customer concerns and larger sales opportunities
- Support prospecting efforts through outbound calls, internet research, referrals, and follow-up activities
- Collaborate with branch operations to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience required
- Parts counter sales experience preferred
- Experience in construction materials, building products, manufactured housing, or a related industry required
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Proven ability to influence customers and drive revenue growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn Sage 100
