About the role
Position Summary: As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will serve as a key liaison between our customers and internal teams. This role requires a mix of technical acumen, customer service, and sales support. You will manage customer accounts, respond to inquiries, generate technical quotations, and ensure successful order fulfillment, all while building strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Maintain and manage accurate customer data in CRM/ERP systems.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide proactive updates on orders, lead times, and shipping status.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regional sales teams to prepare quotations and proposals based on customer specifications.
- Interpret technical documents and product requirements to recommend solutions.
- Handle commercial and technical clarifications between customers and internal teams.
- Process and follow up on customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the sales cycle from inquiry to delivery.
- Track and manage open quotes, customer follow-up, and key project milestones.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded with timely resolution of issues.
Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with industrial valves, actuators, automation, or flow control products is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer relationships.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP and CRM platforms.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Permanent work authorization in the USA required.
