Inside Sales Representative

About the role

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, operates over 50 locations across the US. Our auctions cover up to 200 acres and offer various vehicle services including repair and reconditioning, auction remarketing, and serving as market hub distribution centers. Our inventory includes hundreds of thousands of vehicles from retail to commercial sources. We're looking for individuals who want to join our team and contribute to our multi-year expansion plans.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships to grow the auction business.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and text messages promptly.
• Resolve customer complaints courteously and report serious incidents to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and work environment.
• Contact dealers daily to solicit and sell business.
• Complete a minimum number of calls per day and log each call.
• Perform Sale Day duties, including exceptional customer service, IF duties, block representation, printing reports, setting-up displays, and post-sale reporting.
• Navigate and educate customers on ADESA.com and smart phone applications.
• Impact and achieve overall sales goals.
• Practice and promote teamwork and adhere to Company Core Values.
• Use and navigate ADESA's CRM to log calls, run reports, and view dashboards.
• Communicate with all departments to maximize vehicle exposure for sale.
• Run aged units on Sale Days and contact dealers to purchase units.

Requirements

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service and administrative experience.
• Automotive/auction experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, talk, and perform light to medium physical work.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and Salesforce/Tableau experience preferred.
