Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Initiate sales, take orders, and meet customer needs.
• Manage assigned product inventory, select vendors, purchase, price, monitor, and promote products.
• Communicate with customers about market fluctuations and trends.
• Coordinate customer deliveries with shipping personnel.
• Perform freight/trucking specialist responsibilities at some locations.
• Contact vendors regarding customer inquiries or concerns.
• Aid outside sales staff and product managers.
• Support the development and execution of marketing programs and new product research.
• Provide leadership to sales support staff.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: College degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of building products, ability to perform mathematical calculations, effective communication skills, knowledge of office equipment, and ability to work independently or in teams.
