Inside Sales Representative

About the role

We are hiring an Inside Counter Sales position in Denver, CO. Full time position with great pay and benefits!

Responsibilities

• Partner with our customers to provide industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essential supplies.
• Advising customers on the tools, hardware, and materials needed to successfully complete their projects.
• Demonstrating equipment use to build customer confidence.
• Managing order entry and processing transactions.
• Assisting the team with the reconciliation of deposits.
• Coordinating via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.
• Contributing to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.
• Cooking the transfer of merchandise between locations to meet customer needs.
• Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Stocking shelves and maintaining welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Cooking cylinder movement and pallet organization.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications.
• Ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
• Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs. and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Adherence to Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, and procedures applicable to this position’s responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, safety supply sales preferred.
