Inside Sales Representative 1
About the role
The Inside Sales Representative 1 (ISR 1) is a fully independent, customer-facing support and technical inside role responsible for managing day-to-day customer interactions related to quotes, orders, pricing, availability, and basic technical assistance. This role requires strong execution, clear communication, and accurate system work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
- Prepare, review, and manage quotes and orders within ERP systems
- Proactively manage open orders to ensure delivery, accuracy, and follow-through
- Communicate clearly and early when issues, changes, or risks arise
- Collaborate closely with sales, vendors, and internal teams
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required; college credits desired; technical/mechanical emphasis preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in an inside sales support, customer support, order management or similar customer-facing role.
- Experience in the hygienic/sanitary process equipment industry, preferred.
- Working knowledge of quoting, order processing, and ERP-based workflows.
- Equivalent experience demonstrating readiness for the role may be considered.
Pay
Pay: $22-$26 per hour (Actual pay will be based on experience, skills and internal equity)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

- This role is primarily office-based, Monday-Friday, with limited travel.
- It requires extended computer use, effective communication, and occasional movement within industrial environments.
- Light physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds, may be required.
