Responsibilities
- Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
- Negotiate pricing on equipment rentals and contractor supplies within pricing guidelines.
- Accurately use company computer systems for reservations, quotes, rental and sales contracts, and phone logs.
- Educate customers on proper and safe equipment use.
- Demonstrate equipment and assist with loading and unloading as needed.
- Cook up and track daily equipment pickups and returns with the branch dispatcher.
- Generate and communicate new business leads to Outside Sales Representatives.
- Perform warm calls on lost or dormant accounts to retain business.
- Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer delivery expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.
- Collaborate with branch staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Sales experience preferred, ideally in equipment rental or construction.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with urgency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college and/or two to three years industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
