Inside Sales - Parts

About the role

Work in a positive, high-energy environment as the go-to person providing excellent customer experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with the Service Department to ensure strong parts support, research and source parts, and maintain product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Research, source, and price parts for service repairs
• Determine parts needs using literature, computer programs, and parts knowledge
• Pull parts and stage them for service technicians and customers
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, parts, and associated costs
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
• Provide relief for front counter parts members, including responding to customers in person or by telephone, and providing quotes or estimates
• Process credits, adjustments, and monitor restocking charges on parts sales
• Perform shipping/receiving and warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently for most of your shift
• Knowledge of Class 8 Truck parts
• Experience with ECAT or a similar program is preferred
• At least one year of experience in parts sales or as a diesel technician
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Above-average organizational skills
• Cash handling experience
• Ability to lift heavy items, sometimes over 100 lbs and often over 40 lbs
• Knowledge of parts inventory preferred
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training available)

Pay

$25–28/hour (depending on experience)
