Inside Sales Manager - Great Lakes Area

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Manager will manage the GLA inside account management team, focusing on the sale of WM services through inside sales tactics and strategies. The role will involve developing and implementing sales and marketing programs, providing guidance to the team, and ensuring they meet or exceed sales goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains and reinforces the corporate sales strategy with the inside account management team.
• Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions.
• Communicates with and works with the Market Area Sales Manager to resolve unique customer issues.
• Supervises the Inside Sales Department, ensuring team members meet or exceed sales goals.
• Forecasts and recruits qualified candidates for Inside account management team positions.
• Develops and executes training programs for Inside Account Executives and Program Managers.
• Updates customer records and communicates pricing and service strategies.
• Works with the Area Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies for upselling and cross-selling to customers.
• Assists in setting up and maintaining accurate customer interaction records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 4 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of 3 years of relevant work experience and 3 years of direct business-to-business sales experience.
• 3 years of proven success in a Level 4-6 sales position.
