Inside Sales Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

McKesson’s Intern program is 10 weeks long, based in Richmond, Virginia, and is designed to provide a real‑life working environment, a solid foundation of experience as a McKesson employee with the hope of a full‑time offer, a cohort experience with other interns, and weekly senior‑leadership exposure and learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Engage and prospect decision‑makers to reestablish dormant relationships while driving key sales initiatives.
• Conduct research on prospective clients.
• Execute customer contact campaigns focused on targeted initiatives and/or reactivating dormant accounts.
• Partner with inside sales reps and manager on special projects.
• Work in Salesforce.com executing marketing and sales campaigns.
• Learn the basic competencies of a medical sales representative and aid in the sales process.

Requirements

• Enrolled as a full‑time student at the time of the internship, at the Undergraduate or Graduate level.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Major in a technical, business, technology, or analytics discipline.
• Strong communication, writing, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Ability to analyze and aggregate data.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $16.50 – $27.50 per hour. In addition to base pay, other compensation such as an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities may be offered.

The internship lasts 10 weeks and is based in Richmond, Virginia.
