Inside Sales

About the role

The Inside Sales position involves sizing, selecting, and quoting process control solutions based on customer application conditions. This role also includes coordinating and executing sales in support of the outside sales team.

Responsibilities

• Properly size, select, and quote process control solutions based on customer application conditions
• Coordinate and execute sales in support of the outside sales team
• Work closely with the inside sales manager and outside sales people to continually improve the sales process and increase overall sales and customer service
• Directly manage key clients and/or projects as assigned by the Inside Manager
• Analyze project drawings, application data, takeoffs, to identify and price valves, instruments, and equipment
• Establish excellent 'Can do' relationships with customers and our outside sales team
• Receive and process sales inquiries by email or phone
• Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to in a timely manner
• Upsell whenever possible by suggesting other products and/or services
• Routinely route new sales opportunities to the appropriate outside salesperson for follow-up, continued development, and closure
• Work closely with purchasing to meet common goals
• Maintain positive working relationships with all employees in the department
• Be computer skilled and typing proficient
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Show maturity and quality decision-making
• Show attention to detail and precision to assure standards are met timely
• Have follow-up and organizational skills critical to success

Requirements

• Base Salary: annually, paid bi-weekly, in 26 equal semi-monthly installments
• Vacation: 10 days per year in accordance with TRIVACO’s vacation policy; prorated for this year
