About the role

Assist the outside sales force in achieving and exceeding revenue goals in assigned territory for all product lines by prequalifying leads, generating quotes, and taking orders—enabling the sales force to make a greater number of face-to-face sales opportunities. Coordinate customer expectations for delivery and installation with operations and management teams. Represent the Company honestly and fairly to maintain good public relations with all customers, competitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales leads to convert them into sales or refer them to field representatives or partners, as appropriate.
• Meet or exceed assigned quarterly sales quotas.
• Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers or partners by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell solutions.
• Meet outbound call metrics as set and measured on a monthly basis.
• Build and maintain customer and/or partner relationships, emphasizing marketable features, quoting prices and credit terms, preparing sales orders, and estimating delivery dates.
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives with optimizing opportunities through scheduling appointments and meaningful selling interactions.
• Update and maintain CRM records such as contact information, activities, accounts, leads, and opportunities.
• Act as the main point of contact with customers to take basic orders and assist with change orders.
• Support the sales team in quotation generation, customer follow-up, and accessing customer information.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and company departments to resolve issues, such as accounts receivables.
• Prepare reports of business transactions, enter new customer data, and update sales data for current customers in the CRM.
• Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers and investigate and resolve customer problems.
• Assist with setting up appointments for trade shows, association meetings, lunch and learns, product demonstrations, and other business-related meetings.

Pay

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
