About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build strong relationships with customers and effectively sell building products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to provide high-quality building products to customers
  • Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales
  • Meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with new buyers
  • Create effective sales strategies and price quotes
  • Communicate with customers promptly and assist them in any way possible
  • Provide support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales
  • Market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes
  • Possess professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Quickly learn and retain knowledge and awareness of new products, specialty products, and systems
  • Provide support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed
  • Customer sales experience with cold-calling and/or telemarketing skills
  • Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors
  • Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies
  • Ability to obtain and retain new buyers by creating long-lasting relationships
  • Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions
  • Able to operate a PC and related software
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
