Inside Sales Associate

Sales & Customer Service

• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
• Actively upsell complementary products and convert customers to stocked brands
• Present pricing, credit, and terms accurately
• Follow through on all commitments to customers
• Promote current programs, products, and the company's competitive advantages with confidence
• Resolve customer concerns promptly
• Follow up after sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction

Product Knowledge & Problem Solving

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of all product lines and their real-world applications
• Quickly assess customer needs and recommend the right products or escalate to a technical expert
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new products through ongoing training
• Understand how products work together; proactively offer complementary items on every order

Teamwork & Operations

• Coordinate effectively with outside sales on projects, quotes, and customer accounts
• Use company systems and tools to plan, track, and maximize efficiency
• Participate actively in team meetings; share best practices and contribute to shared goals
• Maintain accurate customer files, inventory availability info, and shipment tracking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years in a similar inside sales or wholesale distribution role preferred
• Product and applications experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related industries a strong plus
• Bilingual in Spanish desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with company software systems
