Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company's sales systems.
- Provide product information, pricing, and technical support to customers as needed.
- Aid in customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Daily upkeep and maintenance of the store including product replenishment and updating price tags.
- Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify sales leads and follow up on inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of welding and industrial supplies is preferred but not required.
