Pay
Earn up to $37.52 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. Additional opportunities for overtime, specialized training, and long-term advancement.
Responsibilities
- Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders to machine precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements, tolerances, and final specifications.
- Machine threads, tapered shafts, and other critical ship components.
- Maintain machining tools and equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
- Work in various shipyard environments and support production requirements.
- Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders (preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and machine to exact specifications.
- Skill in machining threads, tapered shafts, and precision components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely in dynamic industrial environments.
- A mindset rooted in accuracy, consistency, and teamwork.
- 3-5 years of current related experience (required).
- Shipyard Inside Machinist experience (nice to have).
