Inside Estimator & Project Manager

Job Overview

Company: B&B Electric.

Salary/Pay Rate: $130,000 to $180,000 (based on experience) per year plus Year-End Bonus.

Location: Fairbanks, AK (Onsite).

Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (40-60 hours per week).

Project Scope

Commercial, Industrial, and Government Vertical Electrical.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating and management experience within the electrical construction industry.
• Prominent expertise in managing electrical project budgets, personnel, and complex schedules.
• Strong proficiency in reading project drawings and interpreting the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of project outcomes and work collaboratively with all levels of staff.

Mandatory Licenses & Certifications

• Must obtain an Alaska Electrical License.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Formulate precise project estimates and takeoffs using McCormick Estimating software to ensure bid accuracy.
• Cookordinate multi-phase vertical electrical projects to maintain strict adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Direct communication between clients, inspectors, and vendors to streamline project transparency and delivery.
• Supervise material procurement processes to ensure field crews have the necessary resources without delay.
• Interpret 2023 NEC requirements and project specifications to guarantee all installations meet high-quality standards.
• Execute comprehensive project documentation and reporting to track progress and adjust resources in real-time.
• Mentor field supervisors and junior team members to foster a culture of professional growth and accountability.
