Inside Counter Sales

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled sales professional to serve our diverse customer base of professional contractors, industrial clients, and resale customers in our industrial-grade tools and supplies store. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of our product offerings and be able to provide expert advice to customers.

What You'll Do

• Serving walk-in customers
• Providing product recommendations
• Processing transactions on the computer system
• Restocking the showroom
• Learning to merchandise products
• Keeping pricing up to date
• Processing paperwork
• Assisting with warehouse duties
• Processing credit card transactions
• Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Must be at least High School or equivalent graduate and be able to read and write clearly.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must know how to add and subtract and do basic math and use a calculator.
• Experience in our industry is preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills are necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work on your feet many hours a day.
• Must be able to go up and down stairs.
• Must posses mechanical aptitude.
• Neat and groomed appearance at work necessary.

Nice to Have

• A college degree is highly desirable, as is sales training and industry experience.
• A desire to learn and grow, along with a willingness to pitch in and help whenever needed, would make a candidate a strong fit for this role.

Benefits

This Inside Counter Sales role pays $20 to $22/Hr.
