About the role
The Inside Contractor Sales position at Curtis Lumber is a full-time opportunity available immediately. This role requires knowledge of building material products and a strong background in sales.
Responsibilities
- Understand the marketplace and know product features
- Work to meet prospect customers’ needs
- Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
- Effective closing technique
- Responsible for maintaining customer projects from their initial quote through an invoiced sale
- Share expertise with others
- Outside Sales Support
- Aid and support outside sales with product selection, questions, and order writing
- Assist with estimating material needed for projects
- Set up special orders
- Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and to maintain the profitability of the sale
- Develop a continuous business relationship with customers and our vendors
Qualifications
- Knowledge of building material products
- Strong background in sales
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service orientation

Pay
$22 - $24 hourly, annual performance based raises!
Schedule
Full Time 40+ Hours per week - Monday Through Friday
