Requirements
- BA/BS from accredited college or university
- Valid Colorado License endorsed in area of assignment: 0-8 or 0-8 Early Childhood Special Education (this is the only acceptable endorsement for this position)
- If you do not hold this endorsement but have been accepted into a CDE-approved program that will yield eligibility to apply for a CO teaching license or added endorsement in ECSE while working under a Special Education Temporary Authorization (SETA), upload your program acceptance letter that clearly states you are in a CDE-approved program for ECSE and that the college/university is able and willing to sign off on all SETA paperwork
- Meet Department of Human Services requirements for Site Director (preferred)
- Colorado READ Act training (see Colorado Department of Education requirements)
Pay
Minimum starting pay: $50,500/year. Maximum salary: $101,999/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience. Salary is prorated based on start date. Each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience is credited.
