Inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic as well as evaluate inpatient wounds.
• Communicate with physicians, charge nurses, and co-workers regarding changes in patient treatment and clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).
