Inpatient Unit Psychiatric Technician Nights Part-Time (2 12hour shifts)
About the role
RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech) with our 24 hour per day, 7 days per week inpatient unit. The ideal candidate will be motivated to provide high-quality, friendly care to our clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Works with other members of the treatment team in maintaining a therapeutic environment
- Responsible for specific day-to-day functions
- Provides patient care interventions under the supervision of the registered nurse
- Responds to needs of individuals in crisis situations
- Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to work effectively with individuals, groups, and other team members
- Must be able to obtain CPR and CPI certification (classes provided by Ridgeview)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work weekends and various shifts
- Ability to respond to needs of individuals in crisis situations while maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients

Schedule
