Mental Health Technician - Part Time - Night Shift
About the Role
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Mental Health Technician assists professional nursing personnel in the care of the patient in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Take vital signs and other indicated specimens or measures
- Document observations
- Assist with groups, calls, and treatment planning as needed to contribute to the smooth running of the unit
- Communicate clearly and openly
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification (required)
- Annual training in management of aggressive patients (required)
- 2 years of experience in a mental health related field with direct patient care responsibilities (required)
Schedule
Part-time: 2 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
