Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech-Language Pathologist

Role: Speech Pathologist in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adult patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with patient-centered rehabilitation goals.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.Provide education to patients and their families about treatment and recovery processes.Document care and progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Qualifications & Skills Relevant licensure or certification in speech-language pathology.Strong knowledge of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorder treatment.Excellent collaboration, communication, and patient education skills.Ability to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
