About the Role
Assist patients in inpatient rehab to regain strength, mobility, and independence through administering medications, supporting activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs and neurological status, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on recovery and safety. Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care, contributing to positive patient outcomes and team efforts.
Responsibilities
- Medication administration and response monitoring
- Supporting mobility and daily activities
- Vital signs and neurological assessments
- Documenting patient progress
- Patient and family education
- Collaborating with healthcare team
Requirements
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) certification
- Vocational school graduate or certificate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
