About the role
The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) position at Wills Eye Hospital is a part-time 24-hour per week opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process for the patient and family/significant other(s) in collaboration with other health care providers.
- Supports patients, providers, and clinical teams while delivering high-quality ophthalmic care.
- Manages several key aspects of patient care and daily clinical operations.
- Contributes to a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Active Pennsylvania State Nursing License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification required within 90 days of hire date.
- 1 year of clinical experience required.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Nursing, active Pennsylvania State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of clinical experience.
