Inpatient Physical Therapist - Full Time / Day Shift

About the role

Provides physical therapy evaluations, develops treatment plans, and implements therapy programs for patients across all age groups to optimize their functional abilities. Acts as a liaison with other healthcare disciplines to resolve clinical issues and may provide coverage during weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments, sets realistic goals, and adjusts treatment plans
• Collaborates with patients and families
• Supervises staff therapists and students
• Maintains thorough documentation to meet regulatory standards
• Manages patient caseloads and ensures departmental efficiency and compliance
• Participates in quality initiatives and meetings
• Works with the healthcare team to promote patient safety and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• BLS certification
• At least one year of experience

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree and two years of clinical experience.
