Inpatient Pharmacist Manager

Role Overview: The manager oversees clinical pharmacy services within their assigned area, supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. They communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to optimize medication management and uphold best practice standards. Key Responsibilities Perform all pharmacist duties and ensure clinical care standards are maintained.Evaluate and improve pharmacy practices and develop new programs.Address employee and patient issues, managing performance and staffing levels.Recruit, hire, and manage staff performance to meet operational and clinical goals.Analyze medication utilization and costs, collaborating to develop protocols for cost containment and improved therapy.Contribute to budgeting and resource planning.Implement staff education, performance metrics, and operational contingency plans.Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards.Develop, review, and audit departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills: A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required. The role demands leadership, communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory standards. Experience in clinical pharmacy practice is essential.
