Responsibilities

• Identifies, assesses, and solves medication problems.
• Provides drug information to physicians, staff, and family (caregivers).
• Processes all prescription orders, maintaining appropriate records, and oversees preparation, storage, and distribution of all pharmaceuticals.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, manages stressful situations, and handles conflict.
• Performs all job duties or tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana.
• Pharm.D. degree, or BS Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Anticoagulation therapy management certification from ACPE Accredited course and/or certified anticoagulation provider from ASHP when applicable.

Exemption

The position is Exempt. Starting Wage: $116,147.20/annual. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
