About the role
Seeking an Advanced Practitioner to support inpatient Palliative Medicine needs within a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Accurately document in electronic medical records, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies based on evidence-based practices.
- Adjust or discontinue medications as needed, and report significant risks to collaborating physicians.
- Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner licensure.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare staff via multiple channels.
- Provide safe, ethical care and health education to patients and families, acting as their advocate.
- Interpret policies and guidelines to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).

- Ability to evaluate patient needs, perform procedures, and communicate clearly with team and patients.
