About the Role
Provides leadership and support to the senior executive (CNO) overseeing nursing and patient care services within the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices across multiple units.
- Assumes 24/7 responsibility for designated areas, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
- Supports clinical staff competency and resource management related to patient care.
- Provides leadership in nursing practice, staff development, resource management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
- Acts as a role model and advocate for nursing.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Associate degree with a bachelor's in a healthcare-related field or BSN.
- Two years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSN or master's in a healthcare field.
