Responsibilities
- Admits and discharge patients
- Consults and rounding
- Some management of chronic health conditions
- Performing new hematology consults in coordination with the collaborative physician
- Aid in developing the new oncology care model to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications
