Inpatient General Psychiatrist | PRN Weekend | Atlanta, GA

About the role

Peachford Hospital is a 246-bed, Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia, providing 24/7 psychiatric and addiction services across a full continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Offer round-the-clock assessments and admissions support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• BE/BC in General Psychiatry required. BC preferred.
• Active or eligible for Georgia medical license.
• Candidates must be commutable or reside locally.
• Comfortable with treating patients across various age groups.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and experience in treating mental health disorders, substance use, and co-occurring conditions.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
