About the Role
Oversee Acute Dialysis services during night shifts, coordinating staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule dialysis staff for night shifts.
- Perform dialysis treatments and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor documentation and uphold quality standards.
- Assess patient needs and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and practice cost containment.
- Act as a resource for staff and participate in quality audits.
- Liaise with hospital administration and support emergency/medical functions related to dialysis care.
- Supervise inpatient nursing and PCT staff to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 9 months of nursing experience, including 3 months in dialysis care.
- Preferably 6 months of dialysis experience in an acute setting.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including patient lifting and prolonged standing.
- Ability to travel between facilities and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Completion of Ishihara color blindness test if necessary.
