Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the role

Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist needed to join a growing, multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive mental health care for children and adolescents in Coastal Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an interdisciplinary team delivering services across the full continuum, from prevention and primary care to specialized inpatient and outpatient programs.
• Provide care in partial hospitalization and crisis stabilization settings.
• Deliver clinical care to children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines.
• Potentially assume leadership roles such as Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Experience managing children with co‑occurring physical and mental health or neurodevelopmental concerns.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to family‑centered care.
• Desire to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.
