Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Guide statewide training direction and modern learning strategies.
- Program Oversight: Manage planning, policies, fiscal operations, and procurement for the division.
- Curriculum Direction: Lead development and improvement of training across virtual, online, and instructor-led formats.
- Technology Coordination: Supervise use of digital platforms and tools to support accessible learning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with agencies, providers, contractors, and partners to identify needs and improve workforce capacity.
- Performance Evaluation: Review outcomes and make improvements to strengthen training statewide.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Eight years of experience in progressively responsible and varied management or staff work, including personnel management, fiscal management, budgeting, or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Schedule
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office two days per week and for special events as necessary. To telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
