About the role

We are seeking an Athletic Trainer/Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team. This position is open to anyone with one of the following credentials: Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services to prevent injuries and promote health and wellness in the workplace.
  • Conduct assessments and develop injury prevention programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement ergonomic solutions and safety protocols.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee testing and compliance strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development through Fit For Work Institute.

Requirements

  • License required: Certified Athletic Trainer, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant.

Qualifications

  • Experience in workplace safety and injury prevention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for injury prevention and assessment.

Skills

  • Knowledge of ergonomic principles and practices.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and develop injury prevention plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$60,000/yr - $70,000/yr
