Injury Prevention Specialist

About the role

Part-time, 1099 contractor position focused on reducing workplace injuries through ergonomic assessments, hands-on therapy, and safety-program collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ergonomic assessments and coach employees on proper body mechanics.
• Provide hands-on deep tissue therapy.
• Collaborate with safety teams to evaluate risks and implement injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Gather employee feedback and communicate progress to management.

Requirements

• Active professional licensure (e.g., AT, PT, OT, LMT).
• Current liability insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• 2–4 years of injury prevention or related experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification in relevant fields (e.g., Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Licensed Massage Therapy).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
