Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 11:45 AM – 10:15 PM PST

Pay

$23–$25 per hour. Final offer based on experience and qualifications. Eligible for bonus beyond base pay.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on operation of injection molding machines processing thermoplastic and thermoset (rubber) compounds
  • Perform mold changes, adjustments, and repairs on machinery
  • Monitor molding machines and make setting adjustments as needed
  • Complete repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Perform quality control checks for rubber and plastic components
  • Collaborate with production lead and machine operators to ensure effective machine operation
  • Maintain water chiller (water level, chemical treatment)
  • Monitor air compressor operation and report issues
  • Monitor vacuum pump operation; change oil and filters as needed
  • Supply rubber to tire machines and prepare material for next shift
  • Supply Nylon and Kraton to plastic machines
  • Maintain clean and organized material storage area
  • Inspect and move tire production boxes to staging area
  • Clean molds and store in designated location; keep mold storage organized
  • Perform mold changes on rubber and plastic machines
  • Start up production runs on plastic machines
  • Maintain cleanliness in production and auxiliary equipment areas
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on all production equipment
  • Weigh rubber scrap for operators on all machines
  • Empty trash and rubber scrap before end of shift
  • Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner
  • Complete additional duties as required or requested

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment using injection molding for rubber or plastic parts
  • In-depth understanding of injection molding equipment for rubber and plastic processing
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot processing issues

Physical Requirements

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs from ground level to hip height
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work overtime if needed
