Injection Molding Machine Operator 2

About the role

The Injection Molding Operator II is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing procedures meet or exceed customer expectations and specifications. This includes managing machine settings, conducting tests, and regulating processes to maintain flawless operation throughout production runs.

Essential Functions/Tasks

• Meets all expectations of an Injection Molding Machine Operator I
• Runs two lines simultaneously on front-line machines, capable of transitioning between four to five different molding machines and assembly lines within the department
• Communicates with leads and maintenance for handling intermediate issues
• Fulfills quality checks using Product Quality Sheets and adheres to the First Piece Inspection process
• Works collaboratively with others and maintains a team-oriented mindset
• Maintains a clean and organized work station following 5S standards of Lean Manufacturing

• Communicates any issues affecting 100% on-time delivery to leadership
