Initial Provisioning Analyst
About the role
Generate recommended spare parts lists (RSPLs) for future operators of PW aircraft to ensure they have spare engine parts on-hand to avoid AOG situations. Work with Category 1 suppliers to procure relevant information for vendor-supplied hardware. Apply engineering changes to the Initial Provisioning database for all GTF engine models using Teamcenter/NX. Perform technical checks for Initial Provisioning orders to ensure operators order the correct hardware for their engine fleet. Generate forecasts for the demand planning group to ensure material delivery occurs on time and on schedule.
Act as the main point of contact for tiered queries from Fleet Directors and Field Service representatives. Offer and create resolutions to close gaps efficiently and ensure support for operators.
Responsibilities
- Generate recommended spare parts lists (RSPLs) for PW aircraft operators.
- Collaborate with Category 1 suppliers to obtain information for vendor-supplied hardware.
- Apply engineering changes to the Initial Provisioning database using Teamcenter/NX.
- Perform technical checks for Initial Provisioning orders.
- Generate forecasts for the demand planning group.
- Serve as the primary contact for queries from Fleet Directors and Field Service representatives.
- Resolve gaps efficiently to support operators.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- 3-5 years’ experience in configuration management, engineering, delivery assurance, and supply chain.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access, and Outlook).
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney systems and SAP transaction codes is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3-5 years’ experience preferred.
Schedule
- 1st shift work hours, Monday–Friday.
- Travel requirements: less than 10%.
Pay
Hourly: $28–$35.
Employment Type: Full-Time. Location: On-Site, East Hartford, CT.
